Children Using Technology Have Better Literacy Skills

"A UK study of three thousand children aged nine to sixteen suggests something that may not come as a shock to geeks: using technology increases a child's core literary skills. As Researcher Obvious put it, 'The more forms of communications children use the stronger their core literary skills.' And for those of us worried about a world of 'tl;dr' and 'Y U H8n?' the research claims that 'text speech' does not damage literacy. The biggest shortcoming of this research is that it appears the children graded their own writing in that their methodology was an online survey designed to ask the children which technology they use and then follow up with asking them how well they write to determine which children have better literacy skills."

The Power of Talking Clipboard

Lets assume you have a text file with contents like:

Welcome to the 10:15 news. The govt. has decided to allocate 2.1 GHz spectrum to the service providers so that they can provide free WiFi service after 21:30. People are very :) with the free WiFi announcement.

Now you want to read 10:15 as quarter past 10, govt. as government, GHz as Giga Hertz, 21:30 as 9:30 PM and :) as happy. Can you do all this with any other text to speech software?

Now listen to the same text converted using TalkingClipboard. The audio is so much crystal clear and audible and it reflects the user natural way of speech and user needs for text to speech conversion. And all this can be done using TalkingClipboard so easily, as TalkingClipboard provides Regular expression, Text Aliases, Word Pronunciations, emotion reading and tons of other features.
